Like most structures in Lojban Description, tanru are left-branching. Take "lenku cakla ladru" as an example. It parses as "[[lenku cakla) ladru)", ie. "cold-chocolate milk", not "cold chocolate milk". If you want the latter, you must say "lenku [ke|ke]] cakla ladru" or "lenku cakla bo ladru".
What's Gotcha-ish about that?
