x1 is a lotus, plant/flower/herb of species/strain x2 symbolizing x3 to culture/religion x4
So latna means something like "symbolic plant". That's kind of odd, but it's useful because so many plants have symbolic meanings in different cultures. Think of the Victorian language of flowers....
