The former interpretation in Lojban (which doesn't really work, but humour me) would be ''mi cecla catra lo xanto ne'i lemi sipna taxfu''. The latter would be ''mi cecla catra lo xanto '''be/pe''' ne'i lemi sipna taxfu''.
Now runs TLI: http://loglan.org/ & appears to respect Lojban fine (they link here).

''mi cecla catra lo xanto ne'i le mi sipna taxfu'' has a third meaning: the elephant and myself are both inside the pyjamas, and that is where the shooting takes place. The ordinary interpretation would be obtained with something like ''mi cecla catra lo xanto gi'e dasni le mi sipna taxfu''.

Yup, that's why I said it doesn't really work in Lojban. In Lojban, the unattached sumti applies to the entire bridi; in English it's meant to as well, but usually ends up attaching to the subject. -- [[User:Nick Nicholas|nitcion]]

JCB's daughter.

There is an anecdote about Jenny that dates back to Old Loglan days, before the GMR. The Loglan equivalent of se is (and always has been) nu. It was typical in those days to create lujvo by smushing together cmavo and bits of gismu in an irreversible way, as rafsi did not exist: for example, nu broda (the x2 conversion of broda) might have the lujvo equivalent nubro.

Jenny learned some correlative pair, I don't remember exactly which one. Suppose it was cninu (x1 is younger than x2) and nucni (nu cninu). She then overgeneralized the apparent reversal, and started to say *piska for nu skapi!

Now runs TLI: http://loglan.org/ & appears to respect Lojban fine (they link here).
