So here are my notes on how ELG and its autonumbering was done.

  1. Before each chapter we declare "uni", "sub" and "subs" using Template:Startchapter. {{startchapter|{{#var:uni}}}} might be wrong. See https://mw.lojban.org/index.php?title=ELG._Basic_sentence_elements&action=edit
  2. Template:Csp is for incrementing chapters
  3. Template:Ssp is for incrementing sections
  4. Template:Ssp is for examples (anchors + titles of examples)
  5. Template:Lch and Template:Ls are in-text links to chapters and sections.
