The following rule (popularly referred to as "dotside") was proposed:

All cmevla must begin and end with a pause or glottal stop, regardless of grammatical context. The syllables la, lai, la'i and doi are no longer subject to special restrictions inside cmevla.

The membership of the re-authorized BPFK has discussed the matter and voted with 7 votes in favor and 1 abstention. [1] The rule is thereby considered part of officially BPFK-approved standard Lojban.
